Go hunting for these common shells, Auger Shells, Coquina Clam Shells, Lightning and hanneled Whelks, Moon Snail Shells, Oyster Shells, Pen Shells, Sand Dollars, Scallop Shells, Scotch Bonnets, Slipper Shells, Tulip Shells, and many more!

North End of North Topsail Beach

You can drive your TRUCK (don't bring the car) the northern most point of the island. The northern portion of Topsail Island is in North Topsail Beach and is the perfect place for beach lovers, surfers, anglers and those who just enjoy the quiet side of island life. There is also an inlet from the inter-coastal waterway to the Ocean at this northern point.

Seaview Fishing Pier

The pier is located on North Topsail Beach off of New River Inlet Road at 124 Fishing Pier Lane. After hurricane Florence it was damaged and then rebuilt. At over 1,000 feet long it is one of the longest piers on the North Carolina coast. Old timers will remember that it was once called Salty’s Pier.

Seaview Pier

Ocean City Pier/Ocean City

Located just outside the Village on the beach. The pier was destroyed during Hurricane Fran, but the ominous structure that remains holds the beauty for which this pier once was. At low tide you may be able to walk to the pilings that still stand today! Ocean City is a community partly within the Village and adjacent to the Village.
